Without the right personal habits and professional practices, good intentions do little more for a career than pave the road to nowhere.
Simply studying the fundamentals is not nearly enough. Practice is the key to unlocking the power of the transactional framework at the heart of our innovative curriculum.
PIP is an advanced capacity development program where you will join a select group of accomplished students and work directly with senior faculty to transform your good intentions into actual accomplishments.
The rigorous group practice in PIP is at the core of what we call your “influence ecology”—a concept so central to what we teach that we named our parent company after it.
The program provides a unique environment of accountability necessary to develop actionable agreements that advance your most ambitious professional aims.
Working directly with senior faculty, you will experience an ecology of accomplished professionals and learn how to organize your actions around one tried and true tenet—accountability advances aims.
PIP provides a practice structure that holds you accountable for actions related to your agreements, and teaches you how to do the same for others. The advanced skills that you develop in PIP will transform not only your professional life, but that of everyone you work with.
PIP is a program that many of our long-time students participate in continuously. Why? Because it gets replicable results. After all, practice makes perfect, and moreover, rigorous practice in the right setting has the power to permanently increase your professional capacity.
Offered twice a year, this exclusive program is ideal for students who have completed our primary program, Fundamentals of Transaction.
Likewise, if you are new to Influential U, then PIP provides the perfect peer-group coaching environment to serve as a springboard to complete our cutting-edge business curriculum.
PIP cohorts meet every Monday night for three months to work through 12 intensive modules designed to put you through the paces of the objective side of the transaction cycle—the doing part.
You will experience what it means to be in a professional ecology that uses personal breakdowns to develop better habits and practices.
You will create an action plan and learn how to transform confusion into clarity that produces the kind of professional cooperation necessary to advance your aims in any venture.
Our students call PIP the “get it done program” and continually come back for more because the results are real.
If you’re ready to develop an enduring capacity to advance and achieve your aims, we invite you to register for PIP today.
Rather than study, practice, and learn the habits, behaviors, and ethics that must be embodied in order to reach their aims in life, most people adjust their aims to fit their current habits, behaviors, and ethics.

This program class size is limited to 40 participants.
Our programs are progressive and accelerated training for life-learners; accessible professional development to elevate individuals and their teams.
The Priority in Practice Program focuses on developing the habits and practices necessary to achieve one’s aims in the areas of health, money, and work. Thus we track compliance with people’s promised actions around aims they set in health (weight loss, fitness activity, etc.), money (debt reduction, savings, etc.), and one other aim in another Condition of Life (Business, Family, Sociality, etc.).
Left to our own devices and without intervention, our good ideas and intentions have no power against our automatic habits. We assert that participation in a social ecology does elevate the compliance one achieves versus if they were left to their own devices. The average compliance of promised actions for 2013–2016 is 97% for health, 99% for money, and 104% for one other aim; the average percentage of goals achieved was 82% for health, 103% for money, and 104% for one other aim.
Metrics are inspected by program leaders for accuracy throughout the program.

PIP impacted my life immediately while in the program. The reading material and exercises over the 12 week program gave me a process to be a study of my own practices and habits. I was able to immediately see where all my hidden blind spots were in regards to those bad practices and bad habits. Once in view, the necessary actions to alter my practices and habits to positive ones were quite simple. Quite an extraordinary 12 week Program. I highly recommend this program.

I would recommend this program to anyone who is serious about building a better life for themselves. If you apply these concepts and methods you can learn to operate more efficiently and productively. I've learned how to better use my time and to be more thoughtful about my planning and my actions.

This body of work is highly relevant and important. I feel confident to say that 95% of people can benefit from this study. I manage 12 employees and I have halved the time I am interacting with them and they are more effective than before I started this program. My staff is significantly less costly to my time than before

The Priority in Practice Program was just what I needed to set me on course. Rather than continuing to aimlessly wander through life, I now have direction and choices.

Priority In Practice has helped me rewire my brain for new and healthy habits. I learned how much benefit I receive when I sleep eight hours a night; alertness, energy, productivity, and focus. I lost 7.8% of my weight through the entire program by walking 30 minutes at least five days a week and following a healthy diet. I increased my total savings by 7% in the three months of the program. What I saved in the three months was 45% of what I had saved in the previous year. I clearly saw the potential savings available to me if I continued to save at this level every month.

I am happy at doing the work in this PIP Course. I have lost weight and established new practices that I thought I would never do including especially 8 hours sleep per night. I have also invested in a cash account that was waiting to be invested for years.

PIP does a fantastic job of teaching principles of human behavior, schedule management, willpower and group power. My experience with PIP has changed how I set and reach goals, interact with everyone and process information. I now listen for and clarify facts in conversations, carefully word what I am committing myself to and am able to set and achieve measurable goals in important areas of my life, giving me a fuller, flourishing day-to-day existence. I achieved all of my aims and look forward to additional learning through review of the study papers.

I would highly recommend the Priority and Practice Program. It provides the unique opportunity to address key areas of life that are essential to sustained health and success, and implement practices that enable a person to produce results in areas of their life that they previously have struggled to impact. The practices I have implemented around sleep, exercise and studying have been life-changing. Thank you to the founders and staff of Influence Ecology for creating such a profound program.

I met my money aim, which I did not really see how I would do, that is a 20% increase in my average for 2014. Reached my new sculpture making goal by week 5. I lost 20 lbs and 30 points off my cholesterol, taking it from high to medium risk. Since registering in the course I have upped savings 680% and reduced debt by 23%. This was amazing. It was not comfortable, but I got results that have eluded me for years (or decades).

During my participation in Priority in Practice I was able to dramatically improve my health. AS a person with diabetes I was able to lower my average blood sugar levels a full 28 points which has brought me close to the numbers experienced by non-diabetics. During the program I realized that being a Lone Ranger was bankrupt and that asking (transacting) for help is now a key practice to achieving my Aims in Life. I was able to host a very successful event for some very influential guests who communicated high praise regarding their attendance. I realized my influence in this "higher ecology" as well as my ability to influence the media. In a few simple calls I was able to get television and newspaper coverage of the event and the offer I have in general.

I feel the PIP Program has been very beneficial for me. I had heard the terminology from my wife when she took it and then FOT, but I don't think I really understood the program until I went through it. I think it has helped me to learn how to develop a plan and to think about what my long term aims are or could be. I am one who usually just waits for things to happen, but I am starting to see that it is much more powerful to make things happen for yourself by transacting with others to fulfill your aims. I look forward to applying these concepts at school to make myself a better teacher and to increase my value in the marketplace.

I believe that the program does just what it says it does, if you follow, learn and do the actions. I have recommended the program to three or four friends.

I loved the class. It has made me more aware of the environment I live in. I see so much indifference all around me. I understand better how to transact to meet my aims. I also see how I struggle to communicate my need for help. I will get further when this gets easier.

This program is designed to teach you the difference between having good ideas about the future and getting into work and action for achieving those aims. This program is designed specifically to improve your performance, assess your current situation and begin to incorporate the work and action missing for most to achieve specific results.

I have participated in Influence Ecology study programs and member conferences over the past 5 years. During this time, I have learnt and practiced skills in effective transacting that I have been able to apply in several areas of my life - in health, finances, career, relationships and personal fulfillment. During this most recent three-month Priority in Practice program I have mastered that ability to schedule my time effectively to deliver on priority commitments in my health, money and career areas, while at the same time increasing my capacity to achieve more in the course of each day and each week. I have learnt the value of engaging with experts to transact for the support that I need to meet and exceed my goals even within limited timeframes, and of being accountable to others for my actions in pursuit of my aims. As a consequence, I achieved double my main health aim of weight reduction, while improving other health measures.

This is a fantastic program and a must do after FOT. PIP brings a lot of the different threads and points introduced in FOT together to make a more complete picture and create better understanding and the ability to apply the learnings. I have gained so much from day 1 of this course. From that I am applying and will continue to apply after I have finished.

It's the most effective program I've completed in IE, as it directly relates to actual day-to-day life running a small business and living an active life. Most IE participants should complete PIP before they even consider entering MAP. Especially the inventors.

Priority in Practice provided a rigorous environment to study, learn, and apply the principles of transactional competence. The promise they make, that if you do the work and action you commit to, you will achieve your aims, is completely accurate. While the work can be difficult, the habits and practices that I am developing are invaluable. The Influence Ecology that you get to participate in is without question one that I will thrive in for the rest of my life. And at 55, it's never too late to get started on achieving your aims.

It's great! It's given me a calm in the bustling and busy world I occupy. I've got my health and core strength back that was previously a destination. My thinking was "One day I'll get fit again" and I'm now living fit. I've been able to see where my subjective points of view or stories affect my work performance and my home life in both negative and positive ways.

PIP was an outstanding course that allowed me to move my good intentions into action by providing a clear methodology that supported scheduling and measuring the actions required to achieve my aims for health, money and activity. As a graduate of MAP2: PSTI I wish I had done PIP years ago!

I took part in the Priority in Practice program after nearly two years of other Influential U courses. This one purely focused on working out your aims and then achieving them, through targeted and relevant activity. I think this is super useful. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, it was not as grueling as I thought it would be, and I have achieved some great results. For example, when I started, I was swimming one km in 37 mins, by the end it was 32.5min. My aim was to get down to 33 minutes, so I overachieved! With my money aims although I didn’t achieve what I set out to, the progress (and future probable progress) is very satisfying. Finally, I managed to organize my study at home, with what felt like very minimal effort, something I have been meaning to sort out for ages. Highly recommended, particularly if you find that you keep meaning to get on top of your health, money etc., but other stuff just seems to get in the way. Thanks so much Marne and team!

Influential U has had such a positive impact on my life. After completing FOT, I saw immense personal and professional growth including a raise in my salary and a promotion within my organization. However, I also was able to identify when my opportunities for growth had run out and it was time to move on to a new opportunity. PIP came at the perfect time for me, as I had just started a new career and was looking for a supplemental development and learning opportunity that could help me create a plan for success. PIP helped me to jump start my career in the corporate world and has equipped me with the tools to continue to grow through creating measurable actions and tasks to assist with achieving aims. Approaching each day as an ambitious adult.

Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to increase my income by 400%. While this may have been in my dreams, this course proved it could be done and that I am capable of doing it through consistent activity. My self confidence is strong and my commitment stronger because of this course. PIP teaches me to make small incremental actions and adjustments that turn into huge results.
